I'm Emily Mitzel! I'm located in the mountains of Sylva, NC. I've always loved to bake and started branching out more to bake for friends parties. Alexis, the owner of The Parker Mill, an event venue in Whittier, NC asked if I could bake a cake for her venue opening. The rest is history as they say after one of the couples at the event asked if I would do a tasting for their upcoming wedding!

When I'm not checking a cake in the oven or covered in frosting I'm an office manager at Smoky Mountain Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy. I have three very tough taste testers at home, my husband Jonathan and two dudes, Sawyer and Oliver!
